Samantha's Custom Cakes was born in 2008 in an apartment near the University of Connecticut. As a young graduate student I was looking for a new hobby to take my mind off of the seemingly endless work. It only took one class to discover that cake decorating was what I was looking for. Today I am a former college professor, stay-at-home mom and cottage food baker who loves making you and your loved ones feel extra special with delicious and beautiful desserts. Whether you need a small cake to enjoy at home or an entire dessert package to serve at a big event, I work one-on-one with each client to create the perfect custom design for any celebration.
