Samantha's Custom Cakes was born in 2008 in an apartment near the University of Connecticut. As a young graduate student I was looking for a new hobby to take my mind off of the seemingly endless work. It only took one class to discover that cake decorating was what I was looking for. Fast forward almost 20 years and I am not only a mom of three boys but also a pediatric speech therapist by day and a cottage food baker by night who loves making you and your loved ones feel extra special with delicious and beautiful treats. Whether you need a small cake to enjoy at home or an entire dessert package to serve at a big event, I work one-on-one with each client to create the perfect custom design for any celebration.
